Qualify the young depth forwards. Once Tavares comes of the books in 2025, you can give them raises, or sign better depth. Free agent class is weak this year, mind as well re-sign bertuzzi and domi and fair deals. Goaltedning in this league sucks! wouldn't invest much money into goaltedning as nothing is available via trade or free agent market, so mind as well re-sign Jones and go with a 1a/1b tandem with an actual defense in front of them. USE THE CAP SPACE FOR D! Bury, waive or LTIR Reaves.

Bertuzzi or Roy aren't taking on those garbage offers. Roy will easily get 6x6 and it sure as hell won't be from a Canadian team either.

I wouldn't give Roy more than 5 mill a year and if Bertuzzi should kiss any gms feet if he thinks he's getting more than 3mill he'd be lucky to get that much. Only reason him and Domi have nhl careers are because of their fathers namesake. Honestly you can replace both those guys for cheaper equivilent free agents for the same amount like Barbarov and Duclair. I just re-signed them based on fimiliarity. But yes I did lowball on Roy.

Lily is a #5/6 Dman at best. If he doesn't take his qualifying offer, i'd let him walk. Hes over 25, he is what he is, nothing special and it's ok to draft depth players from the 1st round.
