I assume you forgot to do retention given you are 2.1mil over the cap... press the + button next to a player during a trade to do retained salary.

That said, CGY definitely get better offers. I easily see them getting a 1st. Not many defensemen out there, let alone defense first ones. They already have a bunch of Gustavssons and Stanleys, so pretty much just a 2nd round pick and 2 guys they probably don't even qualify in the offseason. Easy pass

Jets have enough cap space at deadline for tanev unretained if stanley is included. Rumored price is 2nd and another asset stanley and Gustafsson aren't worthless and could blossom with more ice time consistently

Edit: Forgot perfetti's bonus jets would need only 1m retained not full or just run a 22 or 21 man roster instead

I haven't watch much of Greer, is he worth it? The reason I ask is that you would need even less retention if you traded that package for Tanev only and you will have the pick of Moose players during the Jets playoffs, as the Moose aren't making the AHL playoffs (dead last in the West), so there is no risk of "ruining" their season with Jets call ups.

Greer is a bottom 6 guy that plays physical 77 hits compared to Gustafsson 10. He's out 8 weeks so he can be put ir and kinda hope that he fits if not no biggie. I guess you have a point tho if we send down ajf and toninato we can do it no retention and if we have an injury call them up

Sounds like he would be a good depth addition. This stretch run is going to be fun to watch, especially the crazy 15 or 16 games in 31 days in March.
