Should the Flames try to flip Sharangovich to a contender who needs goals?

I am not sure what his long term value is with the Flames, so if he can continue his goal scoring ways and can hit 30 by the deadline, is it worth moving him for picks, a 'project' player, or a B prospect?

        Every team needs goals, but the canes are a top offensive team this year relative to underlying and counting metrics. The concern would be usage, as I don’t think he slot into the lineup to play more than 10-13 mins per night.

        Would be different if he were a center.

        What position does he normally play?

        He seems like a shoot first type player, but the rangers need a play driver on the top line for Mika and Kreider. Also the risk of him going back down to his usual self from his Devil days

        Any contending team that looks at Sharnagovich looks at his playoffs last season and how long it took him to settle into new surroundings this season. No one is taking him on at the deadline, the Flames should let this guy keep producing and if they move him after a 30+ goal season and similar production to start next season his value will be significantly higher at next years deadline.

        I think the Flames would get a bit more. If you retain two years, would be big return imo. More than Monahan maybe.

        He was good in jersey.

        I wouldn’t say he’ll maintain his current 20% shooting rate, but 15 is probably reasonable, he has an excellent shot.
