The Roy hire screams to me that Lou isn’t punting on this season. If anything, the Isles might be busy again ahead of the trade deadline/all star break. The Horvat trade last year happened on January 30th.

Isles have ground to make up and a couple fewer games to do it in than the teams around us. Lou could be busy again over the next couple weeks

      Well he is French Canadien. This could be a UFA move if he doesn't re-sign in COL. For this year, I see Roy coveting big boi Nico Sturm or former player Anthony Duclair

      Well if Lou isn't punting on the season he really needs to get to work and acquire a scoring winger or two.

      I like Engvall but he should be on line 3, not line 2.
