Description

This is simply an exercise if what if the Devils sold at the TDL, Do I think they will sell? I don’t know, maybe? It kind of depends on how the rest of their season goes and if they can get healthy.

I haven’t done a mock in while, so please send me your feedback. All constructive criticism appreciated.

I think if you can get the 1st and Broberg, that’s some pretty tidy business. I do think it’ll be an either or where Edmonton will either give you Broberg or the 1st, not both.

I think you do what it takes to get this ask. Retaining salary is start, being willing to pay for the double retention, sending a controllable B6 player, or taking a rental cap dump of their choice.

I’d take a 2024 2nd instead of it means we can acquire Broberg. The Devils will value young players more than the draft pick.

I’m also sending the 4th to Edmonton (provided we can get this return) given that they’ll need to flip it for a bottom six guy or getting double retention Toffoli.

I don’t mind paying the third team to get double retention for Edmonton if it means you can acquire the 1st and Broberg. Feels like it’ll be an either or though.

Also, if we’re not gonna help Edmonton do double retention, I don’t mind taking a rental cap dump back of your choice.
