Gotta assume it’s something along these lines. Lap has been up in the lineup even though we don’t technically have room for him. I assume it’s for scouting purposes. Laine and Kuzy are both struggling players. You’d assume Capitals capitals would need to add to make this happen but Jarmo hasn’t exactly been the best GM BUT neither has ours. Hard to say who will be the more idiotic GM if a trade happens

I think a Laine-Kuz swap makes sense for both sides tho, with CBJ receiving Kuz+ a bit

I agree Laine is better but idk what the difference would be. I’m assuming it’s Lap bc they have kept him in the lineup regardless of him actually needing to be there. Can’t imagine it’ll be much more than that BUT we also paid so much for Mantha while also giving up the better player.

Also KJ was / is wishful thinking. I’m hoping for a robbery on the Caps end lol

I dont think the difference between Laine and Kuzy is Lapierre. They both have very low trade value right now, besides Laine being younger. But Laine has a worse contract. If COL retains some I think then you add Lap.
