The twins have no-move clauses, they determine where they want to play.

It would be really awkward if the Sedins went out of their way to say this just to go the the back-to-back, defending champs to try to win the cup, eh?

At the end of the day, every player wants to win a cup. They can play for pens for the trade deadline to playoffs, and than sign back to Vancouver. They've had great careers and will always be set back by never winning, they will be in a sheltered role for penguins, and not have to play against 1st line Defence. If I was a sedin twin, I'd jump on this. It makes sence for everyone, for the salary cup, they can just wait til the trade deadline and waste a bunch of the salary
