These contracts/trade can take place at any point between now and the start of next season.

Lindholm: I'm looking at Zibanejad for a comparable, by cap hit percentage. Similar players, but Mika has some better stats. I don't think he breaks 10million unless he goes insane this year.

Backlund: Unless one of Scoronato/Pelltier don't pan out, I don't think there's any room on the depth chart or the budget for him anymore. He's a great player and will do well wherever he ends up, but I think for the long term it'll be best to stay with Dube. An alternate scenario could see Coleman get traded/bought out, but that's a tough prediction. The Sharangoalvich signing kind of put them in a tough spot here.

Dube: His points keep going up as his role increases. He's getting better at center, though still not perfect. I compared him to Chytil here. A little less all things considered.

Pelletier: Assuming he has a better year with more experience and (hopefully) better performing linemates, he nets a pretty nice bridge deal.

Hanifin: I think 7million is perfect, considering the Weegar contract and the fact that lower points = less money, even though Hanifin is a better defender, in terms of cap hit percentage. I don't know if I can see Hanifin making 8+. Maybe someone would over pay him, but not on a contender.

Zad/Shill: Very simply, whoever plays better gets this 4million contract. I think that's fair for either of them. Shillington was on a good path, but who knows what to expect from him this year. One thing is for sure, unless Hanifin is gone, there won't be money for both of them.

Tanev: Still effective but getting up there in age, will be 35 in the year this contract kicks in. With the way he plays I think he will need to start taking a lesser role. I'm thinking of the way Girardi completely fell off the map in his later years. 3 years might be a bit too long, but I gave an extra year for the lower cap hit.
