Oooof no to the Jensen trade, he's worth more. And hard pass on Anderson, especially at that price.

haha tagging me I see! Love the Caps talk so lets go!

Sorry if I am being negative or knit picky but a few thoughts:

1) Agree on both points on first comment. Jensen is worth more to me (a very reliable, defensive first smooth skating top 4 RHD). I think he goes for more.
2) I just don't like Anderson, at all. So would avoid, but again, that may be personal bias. I just don't think he's good and to me, I am looking at the Caps to have a big year 2024-2025. So would rather have them go after someone who is a true top 6 scoring forward
3) Would like to keep Dowd as I don't see McM has a 4th line center (not great in the dot, not a defensive first center).
4) Would love Miro to get a shot, but unsure he will be ready (that is just me not watching him much over the past year or so).
5) I'd probably bank on the LHD being Sandin, Fehervary, and Alexeyev. Save that money to go after a scoring forward.

I am really hoping for a last shot for the Caps to get a cup in 2024-2025 (with this core). I think with the cap rising, Mantha coming off the books, potentially Backy/Oshie LTIR - Caps should have a good amount of money to go after some much needed skill. I would hope the Caps are targeting 28 or younger top 6 forwards with the excess amount of cap space they should have...

Fair points, i'll get back to the drawing board.
