My standings prediction (92pts) 4th Atlantic (WC) (#7 Seed) lose Rd 1 in 6 games
Atlantic
1. Toronto 5. Buffalo
2. Tampa 6. Ottawa
3. Florida 7. Detroit
4. Boston 8. Montreal
Line 1 - Zacha clearly not a 1c, but surrounding by Pasta/Debrusk should be servicable and still JDB/Zacha 60+ pts, and Pasta is pasta, so hopefully another 90-100pts
Line 2 - Pain in the ass line to play against, and great possesion line still capable of putting up some grindy goals, and Coyle/Frederick were great together last year
Line 3 - Not sure this line, be new to the B's but nice to try out
Line 4 - Not sure Brown makes it out of camp, but again grindy line
Greer 13th forward, but could move Boqvist C and Greer can fight for 4th line RW, or relieve Lucic. I have Brown 4c for his PK specialty
D1 - Works every time, little small, but CMac still elite shutdown defender
D2 - Still works great, and creates a nice mismatch being so strong/big. Let's Lindholm run around like a mad man, and put up points from the back end
D3 - i see this as line as 4 defencemen fighting for time on ice, and a prove it scenario for Zboril/Mitchell. Shattenkirk/Forbort not guaranteed a spot here
I started Zboril in the AHL for now for cap. Will come up to NHL after a month or so when sorted out, or a move is made to free up space
Still an elite goalie tandem that i hope splits 50/50. Will need to keep us in games, and we'll need to grind out 3-2 or 2-1 wins a lot.
Bussi only taxi squad in case of exteded injury. He's a rhythm goalie, so if it's only 1 week up, i'd rather bring up DiPietro/Keyser
Taxi squad is who i have fighting for an NHL spot out of camp, and who i hope get some serious looks, or continued playing time
added a few more depth signings to try and create some more competition
