#5 : David Reinbacher RHD : Good pick, but I would have take Matvei Michkov over David Reinbacher. MTL need help on the top 6 and Michkov potential was too big to pass on IMO. Anyway, David Reinbacher will be a real solid defenseman, will log a tons of minutes next to Lane Hutson or Kaiden Guhle in the future
#69 : Jacob Fowler G : Great pick, in my book he is a top 5 goalie in the draft with the likes of Hrabal, Bjarnsson, Gajan & Augustine. Happy with this pick
#101 : Florian Xhekaj LW : Horrible pick. Nice story, just way too early
#110 : Bogdan Konyushkov RHD : Overager who put up 25 points (I think) in the KHL and finished top 3 in rookie of the year in the KHL. So I'm OK with this pick even tho he is 20 yo
#128 : Quentin Miller G : Meh, don't know much
#133 : Samuel Harris LW : Bad pick IMO, overager not doing anything special. But hey, let's wait
#144 : Yevgeni Volokhin G : I like this pick, another goalie but was great in the MHL
#165 : Filip Eriksson C : Nothing to say
#197 : Luke Mittelstadt LHD : I like this pick, I had him in the 3rd round
Now that the draft is done, I think one of Edmundson, Hoffman, Dvorak or Armia will be moved. We will see. If not, not a big deal.
Laval Rocket lines after MTL waive Rem Pitlick, Alex Belzile & Chris Wideman (RHP is still waivers exempt)
I could see MTL bringing back Anthony Richard & Gabriel Bourque
IMO Reinbacher will go back in the SL for one year, but I wouldn't be surprise if he starts in the AHL. Owen Beck fight for a roster spot in training camp, if he doesn't crack the lineup, he goes back in the OHL. Mesar will either go back in the OHL or start in the AHL
I left Edmundson on the IR because of his back problems
I expect MTL to be a bottom 10 team again next year
The thing with Michkov is he supposedly told teams he wouldn't sign with more than a handful and would just stay in Russia if they drafted him. Picking him would have really wasted a pick
Florian Xhekaj was the one pick i was excited about
Agreed way too early that said Power Forwards like him went early
Danil But went 12th OA where most of the Pro Analysts had him 22-48th OA(2 people had him top 20 but it was the 2 that were way off overall in their 1st round predictions.)
My point i guess is his brother didnt break out till he packed on muscle and filled out his massive frame adding a couple inches.(thats when MTL called him)
Florian is 2 years younger than Arber was when we found him and as such is there's 52lbs of muscle difference between the brothers.
Arber's Draft Profile has him at 6'1 and 180lbs
Florian at his age is 6'2 176lbs
Expect a Growth spurt and Mama Xhekaj to be lighting up twitter extatic right now
i'll bet rhp starts in the big league. at worst someone is injured and he'll have a spot.

4th line minutes will bury Slaf, and RHP is too good for the AHL tbh, I'd move Hoffman and use RHP in the NHL
Guys I just went the most realistically, but yes during training camp + preseason games, some players get injured. So I am not worried with Harvey-Pinard, but in a world where everyone comes out healthy, him and Barron not having to go through waivers, they are prime candidate to be sent down.
Slafkovsky played a lot on the 4th line last year, I don't like it but management think this is better than being in the AHL
Moving Hoffman isn't easy, we all hate him but he plays nonetheless
