I'm sorry but I think you're biased for Gallagher because he plays for MTL. He scored 10 goals and less than 30 points this season. He's probably surpassed 20 goals like once in his career, and never more than 50 points. He is young, and could pick it up, but so far he's definitely no Neal.
Neal has been a 40 goal scorer, and I don't believe he's had a single season under 20 goals. He's also way bigger and can throw weight around instead of being a target and injury prone. I've gotta stick with Neal on this one.

I agree with the points statement, but the reason for Gallaghar and not neal is 2 things. First is age, as Gallaghar is younger, and 2nd is Gallaghars play. He plays like a pest, annoys the hell outta opposing goalies, and best of all, he is a possesion beast. He drives the play. That would be my only reason for choose him over Neal. Neal is a great player, but he is steadily declining. Both players are heading in the opposite direction

Fair point of view. Only issue is that I feel like Gallagher has gotten worse the last 2 seasons. That could change, but he definitely hasn't appeared to be trending in the right direction.

There's something said for being a pest. As a Ducks fan with Kesler and Perry on the roster i definitely recognize the value in it. The only difference is they both put up a lot of points as well. A pest without scoring is a goon, and the days of the goon in the NHL are behind us

Well he has been injured a lot recently. As for his pesty ways, the mental game is really important in the nhl. If u have gally on the ice, goalies and opposing players focus on him, that creates space and opportunity, when the other team is focused on one player
