Anaheim isn't interested in a single element of that package for four years of John Gibson. (If you don't think that he's going to give you that, why in the world would you be trading for him?)
Any Gibson trade starts (and perhaps ends, but certainly starts) with #14 overall. That should cool your enthusiasm right away. The problem with a deal for John Gibson is that due to your awful pipeline, you don't have a single prospect who could be considered a major piece in a big-ticket deal -- not even Owen Pickering, inasmuch as we have Jackson LaCombe, Pavel Mintyukov and Olen Zellweger ahead of him. So the major asset has to be a first-round draft pick. And we have the advantage of time -- being able to wait until the right offer comes along.
