Why? So Panarin can just disappear in the playoffs for the Canes instead? Canes can’t exactly afford to keep Panarin after next season either, so no reason for the Canes to do this. Sure it strengthens their offense in the regular season, but the cap hit and the lack of offense in the playoffs is not worth it.

Take more of that AAV off and I’ll throw in a slightly used Necas in the deal.

Even if Necas ends up being someone who disappears I’m the playoffs, at the very least he ends up cheaper than Panarin. No reason to do that

It was a stupid idea from the rangers management to sign panarin, trocheck, and trouba. They should've stayed on course and continued to rebuild and draft. Also fire the player development staff.
