Seattle already has a lot of cap in goalies and they clearly have a goalie situation that got them through to round 2. I don't see them being the right fit for Ullmark.

SEA's goaltending situation was difficult through the whole season; it's just that COL didn't figure it out this off-season. Acquiring Ullmark after his Vezina season gives them a great 1A option to go along with Gruby at 1B.

Grubauer's stats are a bit misleading; for much of the season team goalscoring and defense wasn't as sharp with him in net as opposed to Jones, so his stats didn't exactly reflect his play. Grubauer also improved a lot over the course of the season; after the All-Star break he usurped Jones as the no. 1 goalie and was very good down the stretch even before the series vs the Avs, against whom he was elite. That's not to say Ullmark wouldn't be a great addition, it's just that goaltending isn't such a glaring need anymore.

I think my bigger gripe is the inclusion of Evans and Grzelcyk. If Evans is ready for the NHL, the Kraken will just keep him and play him on their blue line rather than swap him for an older, more expensive rental.

Seattle isn't doing that. They've got depth at just about every position. Heck, their depth is one of the biggest reasons they beat COL. They need top end talent. Having ~$9M in backup goalies isn't smart.
