Canucks: The Canucks need Cap space, and they get a lot of it by trading Myers. If they don’t have a clear number one in mind when it’s their turn to pick, this could be an option IMO.

Wings: If there’s a certain player that the Wings scouting staff / Yzerman really likes, this could be a trade option. Myers fills a need on the roster ( 3rd pair RD ).

Wings probably have to include a pick in the trade, but how are the Canucks gonna fix their Cap situation? Idk what Pearsons and Poolmans futures holds, but if they are ready to play there is ZERO Cap space.

There are so many Cap strapped teams in the league and rebuilding teams are not paying to get Tyler Myers. What’s the plan then? Trade a guy like Boeser/Garland for pennies?
