a 2nd seems like a lot of Kravtsov, as well as a 3rd + prospect. He really hasn't done anything to warrant a return like that. I think it's more likely its disappointing prospect for disappointing prospect for him.

From a team that shouldn't be buying. That is going to be one of the 1st 5 picks of the round.

Like the idea with KAM….not sure what his # would be for 5 years…but he’ll be starting next contract at 28- so still has another payday ahead. Only thing though is Chytil will need more than 3.4. With long term deals for any one of KAM, LaF, and Chytil they will need more cap to extend all 3. Goodrow would be the first to try to move and (depending how their D prospects are coming along) I wouldn’t be shocked if they kicked the tires on moving Lindgren….not my first choice- but KAM is probably already in the plan to be eventually be paired with Fox. And I’m sure they could get a generous package for Lind.

I like Laf and I hope he has a bright future on this team.

Having said that, I don't know how he gets a more lucrative contract than Kakko got given the season he's had. Unless Laf turns things around in the second half, Kakko was definitely the better of the two players at the end of their respective ELC's.
