Description

- One more year for Lars. It's do-or-die time (although our defenseman's coach is thrown into the sun, and a more competent defensive mind is brought in).

-We miss out on Bedard, because Chicago loses more than we do (and also god hates us). Good thing Adam Fantilli also has amazing potential. He stays in college for another year.

-As much as i love how he's played so far, Guddy is bought out. This has nothing to do with Guddy, and more to do with financial reasons. We have to lock down the three young guys next season.

-The right side of the defense is subject to change.

Why is LA paying a 1st round pick for an undersized right-handed defenseman when they have:

NHL Level -- Doughty, Roy, Walker, Durzi (which is already one too many)
NHL ready, but AHL/minors because of no space on the NHL roster -- Spence and Clarke
AHL but getting closer to NHL ready -- Grans.

Well, as everyone said, LAK ain’t the spot for Boq, but I think he does have to go somewhere. Maybe a younger building team like ARZ or BUF?

Gudbranson is overpaid but still solid and fills a role the CBJ need. Who brings his physicality on the back end with him gone? Jiricek maybe in a couple years, but you can count on that from him as a 19-20 year old.

Keep Guddy one more year at least, then they can buy him out. Hes a good guy to have around with such a young blue line.

Jenner is still the 1C until KJ or Bedard come take that spot. Roslovic just ain’t that guy.
