I think the Leafs only real need at the deadline is a top 6 left winger who can preferably also play centre if we need him to. Boone Jenner is the perfect option in my mind. Guys like O'Reilly/Horvat can be put in that spot but they would be expensive for pending ufas. Barbashev would be a cheaper option. Kuzmenko would be a fun option, but he doesn't play centre at all.
I don't see what Raddish brings, that Engvall and Kerfoot don't. No on Mcbain also.
Keefe has stated several times now over the past few weeks that he has seen ZERO mistakes from Holmberg so far. He said he has never seen a player make zero mistakes before. He will 100% be in the line up.
I wouldn't make any of the trades you listed here.
Forwards when healthy:
Bunting-Matthews-Nylander
(New Addition)-Tavares-Marner
Kerfoot-Kampf-Engvall/Jarnkrok
ZAR-Holmberg-Engvall/Jarnkrok
Knies will also be given an opportunity once his NCAA season is over. So he will be the spare here but he could easily be slotted in the line up. It would just be unwise to expect him to make a huge impact immediately. If he does great, if not, we have it covered.
