-I don't think a rebuilding Montreal should be taking on an aging Erik Karlsson, first off, but don't worry - I don't think there's anything in this package that would entice San Jose to make the deal. Armia & Hoffman are negative value cap dumps at this point, I would argue that it would cost *at least* that 2024 2nd to get them off your books (and that's being generous. That means you're basically giving up a pair of 1sts and Mike Matheson for EK65 and Timo Meier - San Jose can probably get better value for Meier on his own without having to trade a resurgent Karlsson. Pass for the Sharks, but Montreal shouldn't be giving up 1sts anyway.

-Why would Winnipeg do this? PLD is better than Monahan and a big reason that they're in playoff position. They already have Josh Morrissey & Brenden Dillon at LD1/LD2, so all adding Edmundson really does is help improve LD3(assume him & Dillon would be LD2/LD3 behind Morrissey.). I don't think that upgrading your bottom pair is worth such a downgrade in your top 6/PP1.

-Nothing in here is really worth a 2nd, IMO. Drouin has been ineffective (0-4-4 in 12 games, hurt *again*), plus Edmonton doesn't have the cap for him. Norlinder is an interesting depth guy but he'd be the 7th/8th best D on the Oilers at best, and probably behind Philip Broberg in terms of prospects.

-Dadonov has 2 goals in 20 games. He's been terrible. I don't think anyone's giving up any sort of positive asset for him when he's going to cost $2.5M - Dallas probably has half a dozen guys on their AHL team that they could call up and get that "production" out of, and they'd all cost $1M or less in cap hit and wouldn't cost an extra draft pick. Dadonov needs to show more signs of life before he has any sort of value.

This is the long-winded version of "MTL should do none of this/this will not happen for logical reasons" lol

The Jets are playing well right now, so there is no chance th they move Dubois for a cap dump and a plug.

Although this looks like the daily "Montreal gives up garbage for good players" ACGM.

Stars need a second line player. I haven’t watched many Habs games but Dado isn’t producing like a second line player. Seems like he’s washed
