- I read from prohockeyrumors.com that Frank Seravalli projected the salary cap in 2026-27 to be around $91.4M. I would assume the cap would be around here in 2025-26 if they do hit that number.

- Sean Kuraly takes a hometown discount for his extension, and Denton Mateychuk gets a short term deal due to a small sample size in the NHL.

- Mateychuk emerging as the 3LD leads to a 7th-defenseman-spot-battle between Corson Ceulemans and Nick Blankenburg. In this scenario, Blanks wins, and Corson is traded out to a team that would use him properly.

- Daniil Tarasov gets good backup money for being a good backup.

- Adam Boqvist's AAV was hard to nail down, but i decided to take a crack at it. Hooray for matching AAVs for defensive partners!

- I have no clue how (or where) we would draft with the rosters from the previous years, so I'm just not gonna bother with prospects from those years. I apologize.
