Mostly trying to find a way to easily look at everything that's left out there as possible depth signings for teams looking to shore up the edges. Some of these guys have PTOs already, but nobody has a signed contract in hand yet.

I know there's been a lot talked about the lack of cap space, but I'm surprised at some of the names still out there - especially Rodrigues & Milano. I know with Rodrigues people worry he's going to be nothing without good linemates, but, like, a lot of teams have good players you can pair him with and see him succeed! Not everyone has to be the star of every line they're on, supporting guys like that are a huge boon to contending teams!

Sonny Milano also surprises me as a younger guy who put up a half point per game last season on a mediocre team. He's fast and has looked good to this point in his career, surprised no one's thrown a contract at him(personally hoping it's similar to how Lou Lamoriello barely announced anything last summer and he's coming to the Island).

PK Subban is definitely not a $9M man anymore, but he's a serviceable RHD - a position that so many teams need help at. He might be one of the biggest surprises to me as far as guys that are out there - premium position, probably cheap, proven track record. This dude was on a video game cover like, three years ago!

The bad news if your team needs goalie help is: there's nothing out there with Braden Holtby off the board. Andrew Hammond is the "best" option, and I'm personally surprised he's on a PTO with Florida, of all teams - their goalie tandem seems locked in. Maybe he just wants to spend the fall in Miami auditioning for the rest of the league?
