Playing the 11-7 could be a very interesting option to load up the D(since it's loaded up) and even up time for lineups to create difficult match-ups for opposing teams. Schmidt extra guy for either right or left side, Lowry and Appleton stick together as a duo, Harkins or possibly Perfetti odd man out in that situation. Maurice and this group have played the 11-7, so it could be a very good extra choice.
On top of having Schneider(or Heinola) waivers exempt, so are Barron and Samberg. They can replace Perfetti to join the lineup throughout the season until things probably open up after the trade deadline. But the Jets could also play the patient game.
With valuable NHL ready waiver exempt pieces, Jets could play the patient game. Teams would be in a more desperate situation before the trade deadline and Jets could take advantage of that and make a spicy trade. Either way the Jets need to figure out things soon.

Long term outlook. Sign Stanley to around $1.25M x 1 before his huge 8 yr contract.(still have to budget until
Yeah I’m a bit confused myself. Rangers don’t even consider that deal, they’re already overstocked in the D prospect department and Schneider is worth much more than that package. Also why is capobianco playing over samberg lol. 11-7 makes 0 sense for Winnipeg as they already struggle with forward depth. Plus if Maurice did it, is it really a good idea LOL.
Also Stanley 8 year deal? Like what… he’s not even in the lineup over Capobianco here 🤣
