Description

This is the version of the team until Patches comes back - will do another version to account for that. Think they have some options to clear the necessary cap space.

With the Stas signing, provides a cheap Nino replacement who can also play pivot if necessary. Start the season w/ KK at 2C and give him a couple of months to prove he can carry the load. Put Necas w/ Aho & Svech to get him going and the confidence up. Can slot him into 2C if KK falters. Stas could be a stop gap if both of those guys show they can't handle 2C until a move is made at TDL. I think between those 3 guys I'd be pretty confident that at least 2 of them can be very effective in that role, especially with the depth around them.

I mean sure. Swap Svech and Teuvo. Take out Derek and but in Martinook. Swap Kase and Fast and also swap Necas and Jarvis. Replace Gardiner with Coghlan and then Swap Bear and Coghlan.

Eh maybe but I like my version to see how it works at least. Rationale is get Necas confidence back, have a scorer (Svech Jarvis), playmaker (turbo Necas) and 2 way guy (Aho KK) on each line. I could see Kase playing with Staal but they won’t break up Fast and Staal so he’d play on the opposite wing. Gardiner Bear Coglan will rotate third pair. They’ve gotta see what Gardiner has left to figure out what to do with him. Bear is most likely trade chip / easiest to move. Coglan will get his shot though. Marty Drury Step will likely rotate in and out of 13F.
