Why get rid of Anderson for a 3rd? Just for the cap?
Dadonov, Drouin, Byron are gone at the end of the year.
And if we can move Hoffman, that's even more $$.

And why not wait 2 years for PLD and keep those assets, essentially a RHD like Baron?

yes, for the cap. a 3rd because there's only about 5 teams that can take on cap.

no guarantee another team doesn't sweep in and take pld. he's a big french canadian center and the habs are getting a discount. just get it done imo.

I liked Anderson's game in the playoffs and think he will bounce back. So I think he's worth more than a 3rd.
And imagine him and PLD on the same line!

I don't think we are getting a discount - why would we get a discount from Winnipeg?
And if he signs elsewhere, then it was not meant to be and was not a man of his word.

We keep Anderson he has a cap friendly contract. Hopefully under Marty several player will stay out of the injury box and find there game.

in the current market not sure that anderson is worth more than a 3rd and im not sure there is a market for the other wingers right now.

dubois hasnt said he'll only play for the habs although they seem to be one of his preferred destinations.
