Agreed. For the most part. My faith in PD to turn the corner on this rebuild is shrinking with each report. If he lands a big fish top 6 and top 4 D without losing significant assets, I may change my tune. I think he's still a bit wary of his previous trades in which he involved future 1st round picks (Duchene), which is probably what it's going to cost for said assets.

If injuries do happen, I hope he addresses them as soon as he can by adding a depth piece here and there without waiting on the waiver wire to come through. That was the issue last year when the center depth was torn to shreds by shoulder injuries. The silver lining in that was the fact that Stutzle developed into a pretty good option behind Norris.

Yeah that's a given at this point. I like the player, I hate the contract.
