Johnny Gaudreay would get 8 years x $9,500,000 = $76,000,000 to sign with Calgary So on the open market it would take 7 years x $11,000,000 = $77,000,000 to sign Gaudreau he's not signing that in Philly.

Provorov for Chychrun is interesting but he's owed more in Salary than Chychrun. JVR is owed more than Ladd. So that trade doesn't really make sense for Arizona. I doubt 2 3rds is enough for them to do it, and try moving the money from elsewhere.

He's probably assuming he will take a hometown discount, but why would he want to walk into a rebuild on a discount? I don't know.
