By far the most interesting trade of the bunch is a straight RFA for RFA swap. Why? Carolina could possibly be losing multiple veterans in Niederreiter and Trocheck which is a combined 45 goals and asking a pass first Martin Necas to fill that void might be a hard ask. Boeser brings goals and will slot into their top six nice. Although, Boeser will be a bit more expensive on his next deal it's a trade that suits both sides. Vancouver gets Necas on a cheaper multi-year deal in hopes that he unlocks the star potential that he has shown in brief stints.
