Description
This is my attempt at an ACGM of an ideal Sens offseason in my ideal world. I would like to have the advice of as many people as possible to make the trades as *ideal* as possible for both sides. As in the NHL many GM's have different values than us fans and may pay for for certain players.

*Note* I do not think that the Sens go after a big fish and instead relie on some of the players in there farm system like Ridly Greig.

First things first comes the draft. I would hope for that these of the players that the Sens end up drafting but I don't think that the Sens will go after a big fish considering their ownership state and how they are generally low budget. So to me these are the players that the Sens draft.

1st Round
7th OA Jonathan Lekkerimaki (Ottawa goes for a sniper that can support Stutzle and looks like an amazing offensive player out of the draft and a good playoff preformer after his U18 preformance.)
2nd Round
38th OA Ryan Chesley (He falls a bit but on Sportsnet I've read an article that says he should be around 40th OA and he would be a great player to help support the Sens system and replenish the right side as JBD and Thompson advance to the big club. He is also a leader and could help the team with his leadership skills.
50 OA (If Tampa losses in the first round!) Lane Hutson ( He would be a great pick up and while the Sens don't usually draft players under six foot I could see them getting Hutson if he is still available as he is an elite thinker but will probably fall as he is only 5'8 for a defensemen. I'd be sooooo happy if they could get him.
70th OA Jere Lassila (Could be a good secondary scorer and would be similar to the Johanson pick in a few years. Was good at the U18)
84th OA Topi Ronni (Pretty much the same thing but could become a solid two way third liner that makes smart playes.
94 OA Ivan Miroshnichenko (With the whole Russian situation and the cancer diagnosis I think that would scare a lot of general managers off and so Ottawa who have already picked quite well up to this point would draft a player that could potentially become nothing or a gamebreaker.)
106 OA Vinzenz Rohrer (I want the Sens to draft this guy so bad as I think he could become a great bottom to middle six two way center.)
144 OA Brady Stonehouse (Would be a great bottom six to middle six grinding center and is a smaller Brady Tkachuk and I could really see the Sens going out and getting him in the later round)
158 OA Lucas Edmonds (I know he has scored a lot but the scouts put that on him playing with Wright and he drops to the middle of the 5th round where he is scouped up by the Sens as a potential middle six option down the road.
159 OA Avery Hayes (Another overager that has the same stigma of playing with a really good player in Mason McTavish and falls but could end up being a bottom six option.)
178 OA Liam Arnsby (Would be an interesting two way center in the late rounds)
210 OA Hugo Havelid (Could be a potential Juuse Saros like goaltender as he is smaller and he would take a lot of time to develop but I could see the Sens picking him up as they like to draft a goaltender a draft.)

*Contracts*
The players that are gone are Mete, Gaudette, and McNiven.

Josh Norris signs a Hishier like contract of 7,5/8 as he could become an elite #1 and a lethal goal scorer that could probably hit 55 in a season. The powerplay runs through him and Stutzle and Norris form a great 1 2 punch.
Alex Formenton signs a 9m over 3 years for a caphit of 3m per year as he has developped into a Kreider esque forward that is insanely fast and could hit 20 goals and maybe 35 points as a great middle six option.
Mathieu Joseph signs the same contract for basically the same reasons but also because he is a great first line compliment option with both of them being quite fiesty options.
Erik Brannstrom signs a two year 3m dollar contract as a bridge for when he is hopefully and elite play driving defensemen. He is showing some glipses of what he could be with some of his passing and his defense has improved greatly.
Dylan Gambrell signs his qualifying offer of 1 100 000$ as DJ Smith was very impressed with his line for the last month of the season and he is a great defensively oriented 4C option for very little.

*FA Signings*
.....

Well, I don't see them signing any big free agence so I would not be suprised to see them win out on the Andrei Kuzmenko sweepstakes as Dorian was quite confident about signing him early in the season and he could be a great option for Stutzle. Also people need to remembre that he can only sign for the max of 925 000 as he is technically still a rookie and he will go on an ELC.

Now, I don't nessecarilly think that this will happen but I would like to hear Rangers fans comments about whether or not it would get them in Cap trouble but I would like if they went after Kappo Kakko as he probably needs a change of scenery. I would think that 4m for 1 year would be enough to get him from the Rangers for minimal payment of a second round pick. But this is totally not nessecary.

*Lineup*
Scratches
Kuzmenko till he gets acclimatised.
Thompson
Watson

Line 1 Tkachuk - Norris - Batherson (Could become a top line in the NHL)
Line 2 Brown - Stutzle - Kakko (Could become an elite line with Brown supporting the two young players on defense with Kakko becoming a top player with Stutzle becoming a star)
Line 3 Formenton - Pinto - Joseph (Could become a top high striking line with a lot of speed and a lot of offense with a capability of great defense. Would be a great second line capable of supporting the offense quite well.
Line 4 Kelly - Gambrell - Watson/Armia (Would be a great identity line and would be capable of starting a rally and playing great defense.)

Détails additionnels:
Montreal gets a pick that is in the first half of the 4th round next year while giving up a late pick so not really giving up too much and they get back a player that is still really young and has the potential to be a really good middle six forward that is sort of like Jonathan Toews. He would also be a great glue guy for that Montreal team. Him and Armia are basically a wash but with Ottawa retaining and probably giving up the slighly more valuable player I think that that covers the gap in between the picks.
MTL
  1. White, Colin (1 750 000 $ retained)

Détails additionnels:
This would be in part to get the 90 OA pick that ends up being Ivan MIROSHNICHENKO but I think think that this could make sense as Montreal hopes for a bounce back, Ottawa gets a pick and a big winger in Armia that can be a gamebreaker when playing good although he never should have been signed to that contract.

White is only 25 and has great skill, in that sense you gain 400k in cap space and are not really lossing anything as you'll get two pretty similar picks just in different but equally deep drafts.

Rangers will find a way to match, especially at that price as it’s only a second. Kakko has value, he’s a strong young player, production has been lacking yes but he’s a strong player when you need him to be and has show upside as of recently with scoring.

Is it fine with the picks cause Ottawa can add a late asset like a seventh to help cover that gap. Plus it really is basically two early 4th round picks as Carolina probably goes to the final four.
