Description

Line 1: It was nice to get a mix up but I think they should and will definitely put them back together

Line 2: Coleman and Backlund have been dynamite together, I think Jarnkrok make that line almost super strong defensively and quietly lethal offensively. Iron-Hook is definitely an upgrade over Lewis

Line 3: I liked the way they played a few games ago when Ruzicka was sent down because of the trade. Monahan looked really engaged on that line and got a lot of good looks but was completely robbed by the other goalie

Line 4: Energy line, Dube and Lucic have good chemistry together and Carpenter is like Lewis but strong at center, and also a RHS

CGY runs a 4 line system
Line 2 runs shutdown assignments
Line 3 takes advantage or Match ups spending a lot of their time in the OZ

If you recall Sutter had a similar set up in LAK
Pearson-Carter-Toffoli aka That 70's line became pretty famous doing it in their cup wins
Then when teams accept and adjust he reverses it pushing Coleman line before switching back to the original set up
Coach Sutter is Predictable as the day is long and calls his shots

Only thing I'd say is switch lines 2 & 3.

That part is fairly irrelevant, the line "order" is more based on ice time here. As both Backlund and Coleman are big PKer's (as well as Toffoli playing some PK), and Toffoli plays 1st PP unit I have them listed as 2nd line. As Billy said above, Flames roll all 4 lines really well and the actual order doesn't matter that much

Random question, how would you rank the team for points as far as playoffs go, for playoff points. 2 points for a shutout 1 point for a win as far as goalies go. Goals assists. I do a playoff draft every year and thinking of loading up on flames if i get a later number in draft. Lindholm, gaudreau, tkachuk, markstromm, Toffoli or what do you think?
