Vegas take Ennis?, Caps take Gorges? These teams have a 75m cap too, and just wouldn't to take Sabres crap just because the Sabres want to sign Stone and Bonimo.

Ennis is a 3 time 20 goal scorer still in his mid 20s with only 2 years on his deal. Vegas has to get to the cap floor.

Washington is going to lose Alzner and Shattenkirk and perhaps another d man in the expansion draft (not to mention probably Williams and Oshie too). Gorges has 1 year left on his deal at 3.9 million and they are trading a future 4th round pick.

What utter silliness that Vegas needs to get the cap floor. There are so many overpriced players to choose from (and as suggested by this post and others) Vegas will approaching 150m if they keep on taking on the Ennis of the world. If Ennis is so good, as you suggest, maybe the Sabres should keep him.
