The $2.5M is hopefully high enough for Nick Paul (I wouldn't pay more than that) but the term will need to be 3 or 4 years.
Kuzmenko or Giroux for sure get offered better $$ and longer term from other teams.
Formenton can be signed for less.
Sanderson's ELC will be 3 years.
I'm not a Gambrell fan, but maybe others might make him that offer, so I'll let that one slide. wink

At what time do guys like chabut and zub become the vets with experience... the are both in their prime and have played alot of hockey... the fixation to bring in more guys with experience is making our back end worst. Imo their is a vet on each pair in this scenario

Yes sanderson will be 3 years ... but this is next year and he will burn a year at the end of this season.

Formenton is getting hot.. is on a half a point per game pace now and climbing... plays up and down the line up and special teams... I think he will get more then you think.

Kuzmenko may get more but I think it will be a one year deal at most 4.5 m for a trial before he signs anything with term

Giroux is on the back nine of his career .. rumour says he wants to play at home so why not try and win at home... I have him on a sweetheart deal for sure but I wouldn't pay more then 6
