Description
Counts on a couple things:

1. Winning Draft Lottery - Sabres don't necessarily need Nolan but it would be best bet, for their sake hopefully they can grab a good player.

2. Girgensons has raw potential but Sabres need someone that can produce, Tom Wilson can be their enforcer and Washington could use a cheap skill guy since they'll have some key offensive pieces moving out.

3. Buffalo could be in a prime spot to Offersheet someone and TB is more vulnerable than anyone else. Imagine Drouin feeding Eichel the puck for 10 years. Dirty.

4. Carolina gets a decent prospect, a second rounder and Moulson's 2 yr contract.

5. Vegas takes Ennis, but at a cost of a second and a 6th. I could see Ennis being a good role player for them, and they need all the picks they can get.

6. Signed both MDZ and Stone, who hopefully can beef up the blueline, they're a little pricey but Buffalo doesn't have a whole lot of future hope so its the best they can do.

7. Sign Eichel to a contract extension. 8 years x 7.5 million (you might need to go higher). I'm not sure of Eichel's attitude but I can't imagine losing all the time seeming to be fun. Him and McDavid are in the same boat that you want to lock these guys up July 1st of this upcoming year to avoid offersheets.

No way in the world would Yzerman trade Drouin for picks? Drouin will only be dealt for a top 4 LHD/RHD.

He's not traded but rather offersheeted, its very rare but it just might be possible this time. TB would either have to match their offer or take the picks.

So Buffalo offer sheets Drouin for 5 years @ $5.25 million and you honestly don't think that Yzerman wouldn't match that. He's probably already going to get close to that any ways. Wouldn't shock me if Tyler Johnson isn't in play for a top 4 RHD that Tampa needs desperately.

Yeah Yzerman would easily match that offer Buffalo would need to give Drouin $6+ Million for Yzerman to think about it.
