Every ACGM on here that has Ottawa acquiring Eichel, Hertl, Strome, Henrique is met with so much negativity. Either Ottawa is never giving enough for Eichel or an extended Hertl, or giving up too much for Strome or Henrique. So let's just NOT... and play the season with what we've got. That pretty much guarantees a nice pick in the 2022 draft and we can explore UFAs or trades again next season. We'll certainly be busting with prospects teams want.
If Brady and Batherson want bridge deals then keep them both at a 2 year term which keeps them both 2 years away from UFA. By the time they're due to extend they'll see this team is legit.
At the trade deadline Tierney and Holden are gone. Maybe Paul and Mete too depending on how things are looking.
