Players Leafs should Target in UFA and their values

From Dubas' press conference today:

"I think it's a great opportunity here for a free agent to come in either in the top six playing alongside John and Auston, or alongside Kerf and Ilya on the third line."

Based of that it will look like:
Player X Matthews Marner
Player X (possibly Galchenyuk) Tavares Nylander
Player X Kerfoot Mikheyev

Really don’t get not going 7-3-1 and protecting Holl over McCann. But here we are, Kerfoot will probably be miscast again as a 3C, love it if he was in the top 6 beside JT and Nylander but he won’t.

I like the idea of saad, but I think his cost will be too high, Tatar i just don’t like at all, maybe for dirt cheap. I like getzlaf but I’m not sure he would want to move for a cheaper contract.

Agreed Saad and Coleman both will probably come in around 4.5-5 mil next year. Maybe more.

Tatar would be a gamble but I think one worth taking if he comes in around 3.5. Same as Granlund

Pretty sure Getzlaf will only play for the Ducks next year. Plus with Kerfoot at 3C, don’t see them adding anyone for that position. Be a nice add tho
