The Wings are not protecting Stetcher, Lindstrom, and Cholowski. That leaves Filip Hronek exposed.
Stetcher a RHD should be the odd one out. He's 27 and 1 year away from UFA. He'll be a 3rd pair guy as Seider and Hronek will be 1st and 2nd pair RHD. Not worth the cap hit to extend him; therefore, you trade him before the 2021 Draft.
Expansion should go down to Namestnikov or Stetcher if both aren't moved.
Carolina's not going to pay that much to dump Gardiner.
Bernier is getting old (33 yrs old) where his skills will start to diminish and he will get hurt more...better to go with a younger goalie or see a trade.
Goes doubly for Tyler Johnson because of the style game he has played. He's now a 15 goal scorer 40 point guy down from 25+ goals/55 points and is not worth the remaining term/cap hits--especially for that return.
Hirose's not going to re-sign to sit in the AHL as essentially an "AAAA" player.
Svechnikov not going to be qualified. Look for him to go to the KHL.
Nosek signing is doubtful especially at that AAV.
Dunn's price is being driven up...but that's a heck of a price to pay for him...and for a term like that you would have to pay significantly more on the AAV's.
Finally, the RFA's seem undervalued.
That's not what I said.
I offered Namestnikov + a 3rd to Seattle in order to prevent them from taking one of Stecher, Svech, Lindström, Cholowski, Smith
The defenders protected would be Hronek and Dunn + one of the above mentioned.
If you had bothered to read the first line of the "Team Explanation" you would have seen that all the trades are compatible with what have been proposed by ACGMs from those teams. The CAR trade specifically has happened 3 times this last week.
The Johnson trade is a haul! Detroit gets a bluechip goalie prospect and two very good centre prospects all of which are waivers exempt and in positions where Detroit sorely lacks prospects. Johnson fills a need on 2C that won't be either better or much cheaper elsewhere, if he tails off and is surpassed by Veleno and Ryfors there's no problem in moving him to the wing or even buying out his last year.
Bernier is fine for two years, Greiss will leave after next season and make room for one of Alnefelt, Brattström, or Petruzelli. There are no better goalie than Bernier to be had in FA this year.
Dunn is a bona fide 2nd pair defender that puts up better numbers than Hronek does. He's well worth a late 1st round pick, which by itself only carries a 50% chance of getting a player that even makes it to the NHL.
Nosek is better than Glendening! And cheaper. And younger.
Svechnikov have not expressed any desire to go to KHL, neither has he signed any contract elsewhere. Detroit have 4 players that have signed contracts in Europe (Djoos, Bromé, Grewe, Larsson) Almost all KHL teams have already filled their rosters for next year. If Svechnikov was going there he would already have signed a contract!
Hirose won't get a better offer anywhere else.

2. Your knowledge of European leagues rosters and signing windows is limited to say the least.
