Oleksiak isn't bad either but there may be better deals to be had. Flyers want to trade away Gostisbehere and pay for the privilege, Taking him on could net two 2nds. Gardiner (CAR) is also available on the same kind of deal.

I'd skip Oleksiak and Staal and explore Ghost and Gardiner, the picks gained will come in handy and they're both on two year deals which should be enough for Johansson and the other prospects to show what they can do.

The only problem I can see otherwise is that you only have three forwards in Grand Rapids. You need to sign prospects from the reserve list and bring back players like Hirose and Turgeon and Elson to fill out the roster and possibly also give Glendening an extension and let Veleno start in GR as a C between Raymond and Berggren, they won't improve if they don't have a decent centre between them.

I get that but hey we finally didn't go down in this lottery so we can go up from there. I'm just hoping we get one of Wright, Lambert, Savoie or Bedard over the next two drafts. Really would want Wright and Bedard obviously but I doubt we get either.
