Since their acquisition:

Compher - stock slightly down but mainly due to his contract
MacDonald - stock pretty far up
Graves - stock way up
Bowers - stock probably pretty stable but maybe down a little due to slow start

Not meant to be a realistic scenario or necessarily realistic trades (rather a look at how values have moved). I left out guys like Kadri and Nichushkin since they are integral to the current team.

    The Graves and Compher trades are bad. I get what you’re doing but Graves for a 3rd and a guy that is an AHL dman for the Avs, nah. And what you really did was swap Bowers for Borgstrom (a loss imo), McDonald for Hajek (a loss), and lost Graves, Compher and Donskoi for a 3rd and 4th. No bueno. Love former Pioneers but it sure looks like Borgstrom isn’t an NHL player, Hajek gets destroyed in shot metrics a career 39.8 CF%. Love the creativity but not the moves.

    But yeah I like the idea of establishing values just don’t agree with some of the assesments

    It's hard to force a trade when only looking at a single team. Hajek was to keep depth and hope for Graves 2.0. Borgstom is playing well in Europe and still has value.

    Ultimately the trades aren't perfect but illustrate where things have gone (to a point). Toninato for Borgstrom would have been ridiculous, as would Bigras for Hajek and a pick. That's really what I was trying to get at.
