I don't think Mete adds anything for the Flyers they don't already have.

I suppose the Armia deal is fine, but BOS already have more than enough defense minded mid-6 wingers. They need more offensively capable players.

I don’t think poile is actually wanting to trade ekholm that’s why the report came out that they are looking for an elite prospect and a 1st plus another piece. I think it will have to be better than the muzzin deal to get poile to trade ekholm. Next years deadline he’ll be able to get a 1st in a way better draft and a pretty good prospect plus after the expansion draft more teams might try to get him making the price go up. Poile doesn’t have to rush and trade him for something under whelming.Ekholm is a very underrated defenseman. Always in the shadow of a more offensive defenseman so people only look at his defense. Ekholm’s offensive ability is way underrated. Plus he has put 2 rookies under his wing with fabbro last year now carrier. I hope poile looks to trade Ellis instead of ekholm. I think ekholm is our 2nd best defenseman and definitely a top pair defenseman on a lot of teams

ME will get two top assets. Will be in such demand that a team will have to slightly overpay to make a deal. Contenders will ablige, but pretenders like MTL will prob balk. Think CC + 1st
