Yes they should, getting a long term contract with a right shot true scorer in Arvidsson at 4.25 is way more valuable than what you get in a 10 - 15 draft pick. Especially with a team that just signed an elite goalie for 6 years who is north of thirty, they need to win in the next 3-4 years and a draft pick in that range may not even play in that time frame. It sends a piss poor message to the locker room if you're holding onto your first hoping for a lottery pick, losing mentality.
