Description

Campbell is described as being out 'weeks'. The vagueness in that statement bothers me. Are we talking 3-ish weeks? 5+?

How long does he have to be out for you to think that Dubas should be looking to acquire another option in goal? And who, if anyone, do you think he should try for if Campbell is in fact out long term? The quarantine period is a big factor with this whole situation.

Just put Miller as he was the first option that came up.

I know, I mentioned that in the description. So if Dubas waits, and Freddie happens to get hurt...

I bet he's already at least making a list of potential guys depending on how long they know Campbell to be out for.

The real issue is that the goaltender market is bare. Can't see many teams willing to ante up a reliable backup without paying a hefty cost.

The best option imo, Raanta, doesn't come close to fitting under the Leafs cap, and upon Campbell's return, creates another issue altogether really.

In short.... the best option is Hutch. It isn't great, but it is what it is.
