Rangers say no. They already have enough cap problems as is, and adding a contract that "won't age well" is not high on the priority list, considering they've already got several. It's especially not high on the priority list given you apparently think the Rangers are going to give up on their 2nd highest drafted player since 1965 one year into his career.
A more realistic trade might be:
1st
Strome/Buchnevich
Lundkvist/Kravtsov
Smaller additional add, like a 2nd or B prospect (Henriksson, Cuylle, etc.)
