Defensive liability at this point, undersized guy who is knocked off the puck very easily and isn't good enough to contribute on special teams. The league got faster and he stayed the same, the smaller ice surface takes away his time and space rendering him ineffective at best. His projected draft stock was so high because in the slower European league with the bigger ice surface the guy was a magician. If he wanted to play in the best league in the world he will be a 7th d or middle pairing in the AHL, if he wants a pay cheque the guy could rake it in in Europe.

He get's overvalued on this site because for so long Calgary had zero trade capital, he was the only piece worth trading for and the only piece that made sense leaving the Flames, that's what perpetual mediocrity will do to a prospect pipeline. Kylington will not be a top 4 guy and for his sake I hope this take ages like milk, he won't get a shot with the Flames and if another team picks him up he will be back on waivers within the month.
