Really? In 2018. Overpaying a 31 year old at 7.5m Bishop (who else would offer that much). 31 year old Oshie for 6 years. Stone to make jus 2.3m when he makes 4m now? Smid on team?

Keep in mind both bishop and Oshie are expiring in 2017, these deals are signed that summer. A goalie of bishop's pedigree will probably demand about 8 mil per in real life in the open market, and someone will give it to him.

Someone will give it to him? I would like to know of clubs that have money to put on 9 m for their two goalies and be happy with it. With a slow rising cap....that's a lot of money for one player. And when you make you roster you showed why it maybe even irresponsible to do so. 14.5m for 7 Dmen? That doesn't look like a winning D if from Bishop if with the Stone and a well under market value price.
