Is this a contender?

I’m not sure about any trade and if they do enough for any of the teams. However, I tried so I would love to hear feedback

The severson one is pretty basic. Niku has top 4 potential and is nhl ready now. Spacek would never make it under maurice but has middle 6 potential (much like perreault). And then the first is...well a first. I took the muzzin and Faulk trades as comparables.

The Zadorov trade is pretty basic. A 2nd for a #4/5 d with term seems to be just over going rate (over because it’s a divisional trade). He adds size to the team that’s been missing since buff and Trouba left.

Stastny is clearly overpaid by quite a bit. He had a 40 pt season with a cap hit of a mid-high end 2nd line center. He should be paid under 4M so the knights give compensation and get cap space. The jets get a 2c (sort of) who is familiar with the jets and upgrade picks.

The wings one is in the trade description but I’ll go into more depth here. The wings used helm in their top 6 at times this year so perreault is a better fit there as he can produce more. Helm is better suited as a 4th liner (which the jest need) while perreault is a middle six player (the wings need). Helm is paid less but he produced less so the value is about even imo.

Finally, the leafs need a cheap top 4 rd so they trade for demelo’s rights before FA. The going rate for UFA rights is about a 5th so that’s what the leafs pay.
