I don't think Cizikas is the guy to target from the Isles because he has value at that number to some teams. Maybe replace with Hickey and lower the 2nd to a later pick? Values seem a little odd at first glance but then I see that we have another top 10 pick and moved our other 1st up a few spots so it's probably okay. Stastny has deadline value at half retained too. I like having another 1st next year as well.

Ya know, I originally had Hickey in Cizikas's place but last time I spoke to NYI fans they thought more likely to move Cizikas.

Hickey would cost a bit more actual $, but I would take him in Cizikas place pretty easily.

Yeah idk what Isles fans are thinking. They seem to believe they can sign all their big RFAs this summer and next by trading guys for value, but Cizikas (mid to late pick) and Leddy (mid pick) are probably the only ones with value. If it's Hickey instead that's more of a dump and it makes Reilly expendable for a pick. Also I thought Vegas was a few picks above NYI for some reason, it's actually 1 lower lol, but staying in the same spot there means our net gain/loss from this was 2 late 2nds, Tierney, and Brown for 10oa, Stastny, who could probably recover a 2nd at the deadline, and Perreault (idk if he has value at half retained at the deadline tbh, but we could look). It looks okay like this, better if the 2nd going to NYI becomes a 4th or 5th.

Youre including the 2nd to NYI in the price, not the gain in benefit.

If that becomes two 1sts (including 10OA), two 3rds and a 5th, thats a good return

Ah yeah I missed the 21 1st. I still think changing the 2nd to a 4th and Cizikas to Hickey works better for both teams though. I do like adding 1sts 😈
