Taking Inspiration From TSN 690

Things wrong with this:
1) Montreal trading a guy under team control for another rental lol. (Tatar, Petry, Gallagher, Danault, Palmieiri , thats a lot of rentals)
2) Youre practically giving Danault away
3) Colorado has a ton of depth and arent in need of bottom 6 guys with term

Too bad all Canadian teams are on Kyle Palmieri's no trade list, And fat chance of Hall taking anything less then 7 x $9m

1) Montreal trading a guy who doesn't fit into the lineup for a RW who can score and a good LHD. We don't need Palmieri for very long, especially with Caufield waiting in the wings.
2) I'm trading Danault for a big winger who needs a change of scenery after an injury-riddled year, but has a lot of potential. I also get an experienced C who can fill that 3C role.

You'd be surprised how much the flat cap affects his next contract.

The only team with the space for a 9-million dollar contract is the Ottawa Senators, and even then Eugene Melnyk does't like good players so that won't work.
