Working off the suggestions made on my last one. I completely realize that neither Montreal nor Vegas are going to want to trade these guys.

With Montreal, I'm making the assumption that Danault isn't interested in re-signing in MTL so they're capitalizing on his value now. I figure that Mittelstadt and moving up in the first round provides enough upside to make this worthwhile. Mitts could either become the scoring winger they're looking for, or would be good ammo towards finding one. Moving up to #8 in this year's draft, well that's self explanatory.

With Vegas, I'm simply hoping the offer is good enough that they can't refuse. Maybe I fell short there, you all can be the judge. The thought process is that Vegas could use another RHD, and Sabres have too many. Montour is a good skater and great in transition, and would slide in nicely in the bottom six either above or below Whitecloud. Thompson is coming off a lost season due to injury, but he's a big guy with good scoring potential, kid has a laser of a shot. I see him fitting in nicely on a secondary scoring line, so I think he could slide into Tuch's old 3RW spot and not look out of place. On a cheap ELC as well, which never hurts.

Again, Danault and Tuch likely aren't on the block so this isn't the most realistic outlook, but I had fun putting it together. Still leaves the Sabres in a tricky situation come next offseason, but that seems almost unavoidable. Let me know how I did!
