Description

The trade causes a hole in the LW depth but fills a much larger hole on the Right Defense, as well as allowing Rielly to play with confidence. Think its even due to the 15th pick in the deal and Johnsson when healthy is a strong middle six forward, with a decent RD developping player in Liljegren
Lehtonen is very over looked getting 49 points in 60 games in the KHL (Best in the KHL), played RD the year before. Probably the best defensemen outside of the NHL.

It doesn't even save much cap tho... it's like 1.2m shaved off the top and Petro gonna cost 9 million... Blues don't entertain it for a second IMO

Couple things

1. Rodrigues' qualifying offer starts at 2 million
2. Mikheyev is going to ask for a 1 year 2 million dollar deal
3. That Parayko trade is an extreme overpay for a guy who just had the worst year of his career (excluding his rookie year)
