Just proving to all the people out there that its not overly hard to make space for Peter in the off season.

Obviously the trades can be made with any team, but this is how they would make space. then could even sign Steen back at a far less deal then he was on.

Don't quote me on these trades. they are examples on how this could work. I only picked MTL as they have space and did it for Winnipeg(someone also did it for Orpik and Wash last season) so they were on my mind. and EDM was picked as Smith is coming off the books so that would be a wash in my opinion. LIKE I SAID.....JUST EXAMPLES.

Gotta shed another million or so and get Dunn on a bridge deal. It's not impossible, but it takes a lot of moving parts, and no one is doing any favors this offseason. I think it all hinges on Steen IMO. He's got a NTC - if his full hit can disappear then it looks a lot more doable.
